Research on Implementation Path of Unmanned Field Crop Farm in Suzhou City

  • Unmanned farms, as a central component of smart agriculture development, serve as a critical measure for advancing agricultural modernization and align with national strategies for food security and rural revitalization. Based on field investigations and typical case studies, the study systematically reviews the current construction status and the practical achievements of unmanned field crop farms in Suzhou. The current challenges are analyzed, such as the difficulty in technology implementation, long economic return period, insufficient human resource matching, and data silo barriers. Specific action pathways for advancing unmanned field crop farms are elaborated from four aspects: innovation in funding mechanisms, optimization of technological adaptability, standardization of data protocols, and restructuring of the talent ecosystem. The proposed solution overcomes key constraints in smart agriculture development, providing a transferable and sustainable“Suzhou Model” for facilitating China’s transition to intelligent agricultural modernization
