D1型三系不育系新野A异交特性对温湿度响应的研究初报

Preliminary Study of Response of Outcrossing Characteristics of CMS-D1 Xinye A to Temperature and Humidity

  • 摘要: 采用分期播种试验,使新野A在抽穗开花敏感期分别经历持续高温干燥、温湿度剧烈波动及相对适宜3类气候条件,通过监测穗层温湿度,结合开花习性、总柱头外露率及异交结实率等指标进行分析,探究温度、湿度等环境因子对D1型三系不育系新野A繁殖制种异交特性的影响。结果表明:在日平均温度25.0~27.0℃的适宜条件下,新野A花期为8 d,盛花期集中于始穗后第3天;午前开花率与温度、湿度分别呈极显著正相关、极显著负相关,相关系数分别为0.824、-0.816;开花高峰出现在11:30。幼穗分化后期至开花期遭遇持续高温低湿(日平均温度>31.0℃、日最低湿度<50.0%)时,新野A的总柱头外露率与异交结实率均显著低于其他时期。综上,新野A繁殖制种需避开上述高温干燥逆境,将父本盛花期调整至母本始穗后第3天,并于午间开花高峰期(11:00~12:30)加强赶粉,以提高异交结实率。

     

    Abstract: A split-plot sowing experiment was conducted to expose the materials to three types of climatic conditions during the sensitive heading and flowering period: persistent high temperature and drought, dramatic fluctuations in temperature and humidity, and relatively favorable conditions. By monitoring temperatures and humidity within the canopy and analyzing indicators such as flowering habits, stigma exertion rate, and outcrossing seed rate, the effects of temperature and humidity on the outcrossing characteristics of CMS-D1 Xinye A during hybrid seed production were investigated. The results showed that under favorable conditions with an average daily temperature of 25.0~27.0 ℃, the flowering period of Xinye A lasted for 8 days, with the peak flowering period concentrated on the third day after heading. The forenoon flowering rate was extremely significantly positively correlated with temperature (0.824) and extremely significantly negatively correlated with humidity (-0.816). The flowering peak occurred at 11:30. Exposure to persistent high temperatures (daily mean temperature>31.0 ℃), especially when combined with low humidity (daily minimum humidity<50.0%) from the late stage of young panicle differentiation to the flowering period, severely reduced the stigma exertion rate and outcrossing seed rate of Xinye A. Therefore, in hybrid seed production of Xinye A, it is necessary to avoid high-temperature and drought stress, adjust the peak flowering period of the paternal parent to the third day after the maternal heading, and enhance supplemental pollination during the midday flowering peak (11:00~12:30) to improve outcrossing seed set.
