Abstract:
Based on the evolving trends in agricultural technology demands and the fundamental requirements of the grassroots agricultural technology extension system, this paper proposes that the system should adhere to a development orientation that returns to its public welfare foundations and refocuses on its core mission of technology extension. It should also follow an operational logic that combines strengthening its primary role while integrating with market mechanisms. By streamlining the management system, improving incentive mechanisms, implementing safeguards for extension personnel, and enhancing resource support, the efficiency of agricultural technology transformation can be further improved, thereby contributing to high-quality agricultural development.
