Abstract:
Using the cigar varieties Yunxue 1 and Yunxue 39 as materials, conventional seedling raising and treatments with two resistance inducers were set up. The root morphology, dry matter accumulation, and the content and accumulation of mineral nutrients were determined. The effects of two different plant immune inducers (Atailing and Nuanli) on the root development and nutrient accumulation of cigar seedlings were studied. The results showed that: (1) Atailing significantly promoted the root development of Yunxue 1 tobacco seedlings, the accumulation of dry matter in the underground part, and the absorption of calcium, magnesium, iron and copper ore elements. However, the absorption of nitrogen and phosphorus was inhibited. Compared with CK, the total root length, root surface area, root volume and the number of branches of Yunxue 1 significantly increased by 44.50%, 42.59% and 52.07% respectively. The contents of calcium, magnesium and copper in the underground part all increased significantly. (2) Nuanli significantly increased the fresh and dry weight of the aboveground part of Yunxue 39, by 25.78% and 29.47% respectively compared with CK. It promoted the absorption and accumulation of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the aboveground part and nitrogen, phosphorus in the underground part, but reduced the content of calcium, magnesium, iron and copper in the tobacco seedlings. Yunxue 1 is recommended to use Atailing to promote root growth and strengthen seedlings, while Nuanli is more suitable for Yunxue 39 to enhance the absorption and utilization of nutrients.
