Abstract: By constructing an evaluation index system for rural revitalization and high-quality development of agriculture, and applying the entropy value method and the coupling coordination degree model, the article measures and analyzes the level of development and the coupling coordination relationship between rural revitalization and high-quality agricultural development in Yan’an City from 2004 to 2023. The results show that the level of rural revitalization in Yan’an City is steadily increasing, but the grassroots governance and rural civilization need to be strengthened. The high quality development of agriculture is slower, and the green development of products and the integration of industries need to be improved. The coupled and coordinated development relationship between the two is constantly improving, gradually evolving from the initial reluctant coordination to high-level coordination. Therefore, Yan’an City still needs to strengthen grass-roots governance and rural civilization, promote green transformation and industrial integration, and improve coordination mechanisms and talent construction, in order to promote rural revitalization and higher-quality coordinated agricultural development.
