Abstract:
This paper selects the panel data of 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China from 2014 to 2023, and uses the entropy method and coupling coordination model to evaluate the coupling coordination degree of digital technology and rural logistics. The fixed effect regression model is adopted to empirically test its impact on the high-quality development of agriculture. The results show that from 2014 to 2023, the coordinated development level of digital technology and rural logistics has significantly improved, and the coordination type has shifted from being on the verge of imbalance to being barely coordinated. The coordination degree in the coastal economic zone is higher than that in the inland areas. The coupling coordination degree of digital technology and rural logistics has a positive impact on the high-quality development of agriculture. The resource optimization allocation and rural e-commerce development promote the high-quality development of agriculture. The results of heterogeneity analysis show that the coupling and coordination of digital technology and rural logistics have a significant impact on the high-quality development of agriculture in the northern coastal and southern coastal areas. Therefore, attention should be paid to the integration and development of digital technology and rural logistics, and taking into account the regional differences, a locally adapted approach should be adopted to enhance the high-quality development of the rural economy.
