Abstract:
In this study, the
Juniperus przewalskii Kom. seedlings were taken as the research objects, and a pot indoor temperature control experiment was adopted to explore the effects of different temperature treatments on the growth and development of
Juniperus przewalskii Kom. seedlings. The results showed that under each of the different temperature treatments, the survival rate of
Juniperus przewalskii Kom. seedlings was higher than that of naturally growing seedlings over the oneyear growth period. Most growth indicators of T
3 treatment were the best. The inhibitory effect of low-temperature treatment on the growth of
Juniperus przewalskii Kom. seedlings was significantly greater than that of high-temperature treatment. It is thereby postulated that the low temperature characteristic of the Qilian Mountain area might plausibly function as a constraining factor in relation to the regeneration of seedlings. The results of principal component analysis ascertain that the optimal growth temperature for
Juniperus przewalskii Kom. seedlings is 25 ℃/15 ℃.
