Abstract:
Based on major meteorological data from Fuding weather stations from 2015 to 2022, as well as production data from
Fuding Statistical Yearbook and corporate annual reports, the study constructs a two-dimensional evaluation system for the climate eco-efficiency and productivity efficiency of Fuding white tea to reveal the dynamic link between climate change and industrial efficiency by the data envelopment analysis (DEA) model. The results show that Fuding white tea industry has high and stable productivity efficiency, with an average comprehensive technical efficiency of 0.929. However, climate eco-efficiency fluctuates significantly (0.73~0.88) due to the direct impact of precipitation, accumulated temperature and humidity. Extreme climate change leads to a decline in tea yield and quality. We put forward response strategies to climate change such as optimizing production and management, promoting production technology innovation, and enhancing industrial service guarantees, so as to provide scientific references for the high-quality development and ecological coordination of Fuding white tea industry.
