Abstract:
The
Phyllanthus emblica L. varieties of “Yingyu” and “Renong 1” were used as the materials, and the content of nine mineral elements such as phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn) and sodium (Na) in fruits of
Phyllanthus emblica L. at 5 different harvest time were determined by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES), the dynamic changes rules and correlations of mineral contents in fruits of
Phyllanthus emblica L. at different harvesting time and the differences among varieties were discussed. The results showed that there were significant differences in the contents of mineral elements in fruits of different varieties of
Phyllanthus emblica. With the advancement of harvesting time, the content of K in fruits of“ Yingyu” and“ Renong 1” showed an upward trend, the content of Na showed a downward trend, while the content of P showed an upward trend and then a downward trend. In the fruit of“ Yingyu”, the Mn content showed a first increasing trend, then decreasing and then increasing trend, while Ca, Mg, Mn, Zn and Cu contents showed a decreasing trend in general. The variation of Ca, Mg, Mn, Zn and Cu contents was lower. In the fruit of“ Renong 1”, the Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn and Cu content showed an increasing, then decreasing trend, in which Ca, Fe, Mn and Cu content was the highest on October 6
th, Mg content was the highest on September 6
th, and Zn content showed a gradually increasing trend and reached its peak on December 6
th. On the whole, the variation of nine mineral elements content in the five harvesting times was slightly larger in“ Renong 1” than“ Ying Yu”, and the contents of P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn in the fruit of“ Renong 1” were higher than those of“ Ying Yu”, while the content of Na was lower than that of“ Renong 1”. The results of correlation analysis showed that there were complex positive or negative correlations among mineral elements contents. In the fruit of“ Ying Yu”, there were highly significant positive correlations within P and K, Mg and Ca, Fe, Cu, Zn content, while in the fruit of“ Renong 1”, there were highly significant positive correlations within Fe and Cu, Ca, Mg and Mn content.
