Abstract: This study analyzes significance of cultivating digital agriculture talent, and points out its important role in improving the quality and speed of digital agricultural development, promoting agricultural modernization and reconstructing the discourse power of global agricultural competition. At the same time, the study analyzes the problems existing in the cultivating process including fragmented stakeholder engagement subject dilemma, educational imbalance, policy fragmentation and social force displacement. Therefore, it is proposed that the government should take the lead in solidly carrying out the three in one work of“incentive-guarantee-constraint”, cultivating new professional farmers through localized stratification, reforming education in agricultural colleges and universities, and increasing social participation in the cultivation of digital talents, aiming to provide reference for the cultivation of digital agricultural talents, promote agricultural modernization and rural revitalization.
