Abstract:
To screen out stable and high-quality rice varieties suitable for planting in reclaimed rice areas in Ningbo City. Using 17 rice varieties as experimental subjects, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted through correlation analysis, membership function analysis, cluster analysis, and principal component analysis to assess the correlation and differences in yield and its constituent factors, rice quality, and photosynthetic characteristics among different rice varieties. The results showed that the coefficients of variation of yield, length-width ratio, chalkiness, stomatal conductance, and transpiration rate were relatively large, which were the main factors limiting the comprehensive production performance of different rice varieties. Through correlation analysis of various traits in rice, it was found that photosynthetic characteristics are significantly correlated with yield and rice quality. Improving photosynthetic characteristic related indicators can improve yield, milling quality and cooking quality. Using cluster analysis, 17 varieties were divided into 4 categories. The first category includes 7 varieties (Yongyou 1540, Chunchengyou 887, Huazhongyou 9326, Zheyou 810, Jiayou 9, Huazhongyou 9363, and Shenyou 28), which have the best comprehensive performance, high yield, good rice milling, cooking quality strong photosynthesis. Through principal component analysis, four principal components were extracted. According to the comprehensive evaluation score, the top five were Huazhong You 9326, Zheyou 810, Chunchengyou 887, Zhongheyou 6 and Yongyou 1540.
