Abstract:
Chieh-qua variety‘Huabao No.1’ was selected as experimental material. The Chieh-qua was sprayed with different concentrations of hydrogen-rich water (HRW) 0 (CK), 10% HRW, 20% HRW, 50% HRW, and the effects of different concentrations of hydrogen-rich water on growth, development, yield and quality of Chieh-qua were studied by measuring the relevant indicators of the leaves, fruits and yield of Chieh-qua. The results showed that different concentrations of HRW had certain promoting effects on the growth, development, yield and quality of Chieh-qua, showing a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with increasing concentration. After the treatment of 20% HRW, the stem thickness of Chieh-qua increased by 21.43% compared with CK, and soluble protein content, soluble sugar content and Nitrate Reductase (NR) activity of leaves increased by 25.99%, 101.08% and 53.22%, respectively. The fruit thickness, yield per plant and average single fruit weight increased significantly by 13.87%, 24.00% and 8.74%, respectively. Soluble solid, soluble sugar, vitamin C, soluble protein and tartronic acid of fruits increased significantly by 21.88%, 43.40%, 39.36%, 92.86% and 14.98%, respectively. In conclusion, exogenous 20% HRW concentration treatment had the best effect, which was beneficial to promote the growth and development, increase the yield and improve the quality of Chieh-qua.
