Abstract:
To investigate the impact of tea seed cake fertilizer on the yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco. The field plot experiment was conducted in Lechang in 2023. The experiment included five levels of camellia seed cake fertilizer: 0 kg/hm
2 (CK), 150 kg/hm
2 (T
1), 300 kg/hm
2 (T
2), 450 kg/hm
2 (T
3) and 600 kg/hm
2 (T
4). The effect of different application rates of camellia seed cake fertilizer on agronomic character, disease occurrence, economic character, chemical composition and sensory quality of flue-cured tobacco was explored. The results showed that the leaf area of each treatment at maturity stage was increased, and the disease index of PVY and black shin disease was decreased. The yield of T
2 was the highest, and the output value of T
3 was the highest. The application of camellia seed cake fertilizer enhanced the contents of total sugar, reducing sugar, nicotine and total nitrogen in the upper leaves, decreased the content of chloride ion, and the chemical composition coordination of tobacco leaves was better. Under 450 kg/hm
2 application amount, the economic characters and disease resistance of tobacco leaves were better, the upper leaf structure was loose, the maturity was improved, the oil content and aroma of middle tobacco leaves were increased, the impurities and irritation were reduced, and the appearance quality and sensory quality were significantly improved.
