Abstract:
To explore the water requirement and water efficient use pattern of millet in hilly areas of Yan Mountains and provide a scientific and reasonable irrigation guarantee system for production in this region,we used the millet variety Jinmiao K1 as experimental crop.There were 12 treatments (G

2) was the highest in the Yanshan hilly areas,with 1.94 kg/(hm
2·mm).When the soil moisture content of millet farmland is more than 40%of the field water holding capacity,there is no need for supplementary irrigation.Irrigation intensity did not affect the growth and yield of millet.
