Abstract: In order to thoroughly implement the important instruction made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Jiangxi Province to focus on increasing grain production and improving yield on a large scale, a research team was formed by Jiangxi Agricultural Technology Extension Center. We focus on analyzing the constraints that hinder the balanced and large-scale increase in rice production in our province from five aspects of improved varieties, improved farmland, improved methods, improved machinery, and improved systems, and proposing targeted countermeasures and suggestions, in order to improve the grain production capacity of Jiangxi, increase farmers’ income, and achieve high-quality sustainable agricultural development.
