早熟高产优质新品种万香丝苗的选育及产量品质基因检测

Breeding of New Variety “Wanxiangsimiao” with Early Maturity, High Yield and High Quality and Its Genetic Analysis of Yield and Quality

  • 摘要: 万香丝苗是江西省于2020年通过国家审定的第一个常规稻新品种,由茉莉占与黄华占杂交形成的大群体,同时结合传统育种技术与分子标记辅助选择策略选育而成的晚籼早熟新品种,具有高产、早熟、优质、香味浓、耐热、抗白叶枯病等优点。F3:4代进行耐热性、香味、糊化温度和稻瘟病抗性表型鉴定,并结合功能基因标记辅助选择,其在长江中下游地区主要作晚稻种植,也可作早稻或中稻,其全生育期为116.0 d,2年区域试验的平均产量为617.32 kg/667 m2,粒型细长,长宽比为3.5,垩白度为2.2%,直链淀粉含量为14.8%,品质达到《优质食用稻米》行业标准Ⅱ级。主要介绍了香型早熟优质稻万香丝苗的选育过程、品种特性和高产栽培技术,并通过万香丝苗、双亲全基因组重测序、功能基因比较研究,发现万香丝苗聚合了双亲多个优异基因,如调控抽穗期的基因Hd1、Ghd8和DHD1,增加产量的基因Gn1aGSN1、PAY1、GLW10、qSG11.1和GW8,提升品质的基因fgrPULOsSSaGluA-1、ALKSbe3,从基因组水平解析了万香丝苗早熟、高产、优质的遗传机制,为水稻育种提供了新的理论依据与实践指导。

     

    Abstract: Wanxiangsimiao, derived from the hybridization of the Molizhan and Huanghuazhan, was approved by the NCVEA Committee in 2020 year. It is a late indica rice with early maturity and high quality by conventional breeding techniques and molecular marker-assisted selection. It has the characteristics of high yield, early maturity, high quality, strong fragrance, heat resistance and resistance to bacterial blight. The phenotypic traits such as heat tolerance, aroma, gelatinization temperature and blast resistance were identified from F3:4 population, and were selected by the functional markers. This variety is suitable for planting as late season rice planting in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It also demonstrates adaptability for early-season or medium-season rice planting. The whole growth period was 116.0 d, and the average yield of 2-year regional trial was 617.32 kg/667 m2. Its grains exhibit an appealing length-to-width ratio of 3.5, chalkiness and amylose content of 2.2% and 14.8%, which quality traits reach to the second level of the national standard of good quality rice. This paper mainly introduced the breeding process, variety characteristics and high-yield cultivation techniques of Wanxiangsimiao with fragrance, early maturity and high quality. Furthermore, by carrying out whole genome sequencing and functional gene research, we have uncovered that Wanxiangsimiao aggregated several excellent genes from both its parents, such as the heading stage genes Hd1, Ghd8 and DHD1, yield genes Gn1a, GSN1, PAY1, GLW10, qSG11.1 and GW8, quality genes fgr, PUL, OsSSa, GluA-1, ALK and Sbe3. The genetic mechanism of early maturity, high yield and high quality was analyzed from the genome level, which can provide a new theoretical basis and practical guidance for rice breeding.
